CT45 - Structured Cabling
Troubleshooter & Tester
The CT45 isa portable, battery powered unit
specifically designed to speed up the on-site testing of data networks, and
production testing of cable assemblies.
The unit tests and identifies all commonly found wiring faults - open circuit
pairs, short circuit pairs, shorts between pairs, split pairs, cross pairs,
and pair reversals, quickly and efficiently in both screened and unscreened
structured cabling.
The CT45 comes complete with 1 remote unit, and there are a further 15 available
as optional accessories, for use in identifying different radial circuits
at the network hub.
The CT45 also measures the length of the cable or link under test, and has
a built in tone generator, detectable with a standard tone probe, for cable
tracing and identification.
Housed in a tough ABS plastic moulding and supplied complete with test leads
and a protective tool-belt holster, the CT45 is designed and manufactured
to international standards for quality, safety and reliability.
