The TX2000 is a fully featured palm-top Time
Domain Reflectometer designed to detect and locate faults on copper communication
cables up to a distance of 3000m (9600ft).
Advanced signal processing techniques enable the TX2000 to find opens, short
circuits, splices, taps, water ingress and other more elusive impedance mismatches.
The reflection profile of the cable under test is displayed on a graphical
LCD with a moveable cursor that can be aligned with features of interest.
Distance to the cursor position is displayed directly.
Selectable cable impedance matching, along with variable velocity factor,
enable the TX2000 to be used to test all communication cables including twisted
pair and coaxial.
Housed in a tough ABS plastic moulding and supplied complete with test leads
and a protective tool-belt holster, the TX2000 is designed and manufactured
to international standards for quality, safety and reliability.
