Model 462 & 464

The Noyes Fiber Systems fiber optic network simulators, models 462 or 464 are custom designed modules intended to duplicate an installed fiber optic facility. Training schools, laboratory bench design, or field trouble shooting are just few of the many applications for these portable units.

Either module may be supplied with customer specified lengths of multimode or singlemode fiber. Fusion or mechanical splices may be included at various points within the simulator. Panel mount connectors available include FC, Biconic, D4, ST or SMA. The models 462 or 464 come fully characterized for loss, attenuation/km, and splice location/value.

The network simulator is housed in rugged field test case. The 462 model (smaller case design) accommodates up to 3 km of fiber. The larger unit model 464, will accommodate up to 15 km of optical fiber. Optional travel cases are available to accommodate single or multiple modules along with accessory cables, tools, etc.
