Push-To-Series handsets

Push-to-Mute (PTM) Disengages (mutes) the transmitter.

Push-to-Talk (PTT) Controls when phone will transmit.

Push-to-Signal (PTS) Initiates radio signal transmission.

The PTT makes listening easier in environments with intermittent background noise. The PTM is for private outside communication off the phone. The PTS is for radios, FAA, dispatch consoles or where 6-conductor cord is required.
